Mining Engineering Program Receives IABEE Accreditation with “Provisionally Accredited” Status for 2026
The Mining Engineering Program is proud to have received accreditation from the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE) for 2026. Based on the results of the evaluation, the Mining Engineering Program has achieved “Provisionally Accredited” status in the discipline of “Mining and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.” This achievement is a recognition of the quality of education, curriculum, and learning systems that have been implemented in accordance with international standards in engineering education.
IABEE accreditation is one of the forms of quality assurance for engineering higher education in Indonesia that aligns with international standards, including the relevance of graduate outcomes, outcome-based education methods, and continuous improvement.
This success is inseparable from the hard work of the entire academic community, ranging from lecturers, educational staff, and students, to the support of other stakeholders. It is hoped that this accreditation status will further strengthen the competitiveness of Mining Engineering graduates at both the national and global levels.
In line with these achievements, the Mining Engineering Program is currently preparing to achieve “Excellent” accreditation status from LAM Teknik by 2026. This effort is part of an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of education in order to produce competent, professional graduates who are ready to face the challenges of the global mining industry.
